Last night while dipping a new mille frag, I noticed this pretty decent sized flatworm come flying off of it. I have excellent vision but I haven't fully developed my "super flatworm vision" quite yet.
I picked up this mille last night from a local seller and almost immediately after dipping it in Coral RX, a number of pods came flying off along with a few flatworms. I did a 15 minute dip then lightly brushed over it with a soft bristle tooth brush. I then cut it roughly 1/8" from the base, dipped it in NSW and mounted it on a fresh plug.
I decided to dose the NSW with more Coral RX and left it for 5-10 minutes longer in an attempt to get any stragglers off. (It appeared sterile this time around)
I proceeded to do a final rinse and then mounted it in my tank. It had awesome PE shortly after and it appears to be incredibly healthy now.
Anyways I'm having trouble identifying whether this was a red bug or an AEFW that came off of it? It doesn't appear to have the fork like tail which leaves me clueless. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
