I Started to notice white dots on my coral a couple weeks ago but didn't think much of it. Yesterday I took the turkey baster to it and the skin immediately turned bone white. All other corals in the tank look fine. Wanted to see if you guys thought these were acro eating flatworms or just a stressed coral before I start cutting it up and dipping it. Here is the photo I took last night.

Acros are funny you could have had an alk or nutrient spike or drop a month ago and it's just showing up

Might be STN. I dont think you will see a big patch of coral disappear in a night. The picture looks like a dead bleached coral.

I’ll just add what I went through tonight. Had this pink Cadillac looking nice until I noticed its pale color. My other frags of PC had white spots and pale. Everything else looked fine. Decided to pull them and dip. Noticed all these eggs before the dip. Knew right away it was infected. Never hurts to dip. I’m glad I did before my other sps get infected.

Here’s my other PC colony that was starting to color up. But you can see the STN starting. On the outer branches. I unfortunately had to frag what I could and only hope there aren’t any eggs in my rockwork… I would love to get a wrasse but my fish are bullies. Already lost six line

Man i'm sorry to hear that. The coral I showed was also a pink cadillac. I did end up dipping it and nothing came off that I could see. So I am hoping it is just a stressed coral but I will keep an eye out. I appreciate the videos and pictures I didnt realize how big some of those aefw are. I also wanted to add a sixline but afraid he will bully the tank mates.
