Ok I'd been having troubles with polyp extension in my tank, chalked it up to my lights being too high and low nutrient levels. However i recently exchanged some frags with a friend, and upon dipping he informed me that he had found a couple flatworms on a frag. No bite marks or eggs, just worms. i have dipped regularly with bayer and inspected, but i suppose some eggs got by me. i have moved everything to a large rock in my tank, and will continue dipping every few days for 3 weeks. hopefully i have caught this early on, and it wasnt a full infestation.

it was aefw. out of all my acro frags, i found one with bite marks. a small frag of tyree blue matrix. out of 30 frags, one had a nibble. crazy.

Yup, wher eyou see one bite mark, there are Several worms. I feel your pain as I went thru the exact same thing last year. Miserable experience.

just sucks because i thought i was overly cautious in my dipping regimen. i wouldnt have caught it if not for RobD. It's being treated now. I have all frags on an elevated rack and began my dipping regimen yesterday. i havent seen any obvious eggs, or really any skeleton since they lay on dead skleleton.

Cory.. Me too... I dipped EVERYTHING in Coral Rx Pro even. get a magnifying glass and go to town on them. pick anything that looks suspicious. I dipped several large rocks too because there was too much encrusting.

this was one of my worst Colonies... they had eggs buried deep inside this one. took a curved ice pick and got them out of there.

ouch man luckily i just have some encrusted frags, no large colonies yet. i think i caught it early enough. i had a few large and some juvie worms.

ok, tonight will be the second round of dipping. Are you dipping every three days with bayer? my plan is to carry this for 3 weeks to ensure all pests are gone. had to turn my radion down to 35% because the rack i put them on is only 7-8" from the surface and the radions are 7" above that. Some pieces look healthy, some dont.
