Aefw?!?!?!?!

A pink streaked wrasse is a peaceful alternative to a six line wrasse, and just as hard a worker. Was my favorite when I was into nano tanks.

Just feed corals and fish...want some cheato but don't want to limit nutrients in my tank. Is there another way to promote pods?

Actually, pods can be a part of the problem. Flatworms will eat copepods. Sometimes if your tank needs a little "clean up", or if you have a littl diatom bloom, it provides foods for pods. Their numbers climb and in turn, the flatworm numbers can climb. Round and round and round we go :-)

I've seen this genus go crazy, however, so if someone was going to great with chemicals, they should do so sooner verses later. I just suck them out and step up the maintenance. I don't actually do anything when I see a few of them hanging out in the tank, but you do have more than just a couple hanging out.

So vacuum some out and get an exterminator on the rest (chemical or live) and repeat til all or 90% is gone, right?

I had no idea the flatworms would prey on copepods. That is really good to know. It's a dog-eat-dog world in a reef tank!
