Received an acro along with other corals I purchased online in the mail yesterday, they had a ton of trash on them, Zoa spider, 3 bits of asterinas plus other globs I could not make out after dipping in a strong Bauer soln. Normally I will put corals in after the dip but held these out still in quarantine to recheck today because they were a little dirty. Noticed a bunch of spots on the Acro, reminds me of flat worm bites based on pictures. Anyone care to comment? I may be able to get a better pic of needed. Will Bayer kill the eggs?

Bayer won’t kill the eggs. I don’t know if they are AEFW bites or not, but I would cut the frag off the base and reglue on another frag base. I would also quarantine it.

If I have one encrusted on a plug that well, as yours is, during the dip process I also scrub the plug and sps with a little brush just in case anything is lodged on the surfaces.
