AF life source usage

hi all. Those thatbuse life source. Do you turn your skimmer off and bypass your fleece roller or filter socks overnight?

I leave everything running when I dose it. Probably to it’s disadvantage.

I would note that you’ll see build up on magnets from it. This is from the basalt, and has impacted my skimmer performance over time, just in the fact that I need to clean the propeller more.

@ReefHunter006 thanks mate. I need to increase biodiversity so ive just turned the skimmer off and bypassed the filter roller as i thought it would just make the roller mat clog quickly and just roll it out the tank?
