AF pro bio f damped

Hi all, I have recently transferred to AF system on my nano tank, I purchased AF pro bio F and it arrived damped, the powder inside lumped and changed into brown color, it smelled like caramel to me as well.
would like to have some suggestions on whether this is still usable or it is deactivated already?

If products is still in expiry date it should be replaced in store where you bought it.
