Yes I have bin testing and getting zero im pulling the plug on both of my reactors for no3&po4 i want growth lol altho having no ugly alge is nice. i have quite a bit of chato in refuge and mangroves that im just going to let take its course.I pulled mine due to cyano issues. But if you had them dialed in with no issues, you'll probably see a rapid rise in nitrates and maybe even phosphates. Have you been testing regularly, if they been working maybe remove 25% and allow the tank to run with more no3 and po4.
Cyano was the reason for my maddness (reactors, cheato, mangroves and h202)BTW.I pulled mine due to cyano issues. Tank has bin up and running for 5 months now just wanna bring up the no3 and po4 to see the difference in my coralsYou'd probably just see an increase in your No3. How long have you had it up and running? How much media? The initial 2 mths. of your setup are going to have fluctuations involved but after that you should see improvement. I add new media @ every 4-5 weeks to keep up with media reduction. I try to maintain@ 450ml of media for a 68G tank, my sweet spot. After the 2 mth. mark on mine I haven't seen any issues and my No3 is near 0. JME
