I run the Zeovit system on my stony tank. Korallen cautions that the system may deplete K more rapidly. Zeovit also keeps my NO3 and PO4 levels at 0 which tends to make me less inclined to do water changes which doesn't help the potential for nutrient depletion. So I supplement K weekly and test the level monthly. The corals have been far more open since I started supplementing.

Only problem is that potassium solutions don't come in bulk powders and are therefore a bit spendy. While I will pay the money and play it safe, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a high purity DIY option?
