Hello,

Does anybody know of an affordable, hang on the back skimmer, that also is durable and gets the job done? Anywhere from 75-90 gallons preferably. Mine just broke after 4 weeks. For some reason the bubbles just don’t come out fast enough anymore. It was the instant ocean HOB skimmer.

What kind of budget are we talking :)

No more than$200
Any chance I can talk you into just 10 more dollars ;) reef octopus skimmers have been nothing but good to me. They're quiet, break in quickly and have always pulled a good skim. They're built well and mine in the 2 years I've owned it has never given me an issue. Plus coralvue customer service is excellent whether you call in or email them. I'd choose this one for your tank

Reef Octopus for sure. The IO SeaClone skimmers is junk but have you checked the air intake on the pump to make sure it has not plugged with calcium and salt?
