Curious to get others take on a solution to clogged lines.

I've used 2 part for 5 years without issue. After switching to AFR a hard crust ends up greatly restricting the dosing line at the tip to about a 1/2" back, about every 3-4 days. I dose 55ml (5ml x 11 doses) in a 24 hr period. I'm thinking of submersing the dosing line an inch or 2 in the sump rather than keeping it about 6 inches above the water level. I've been avoiding doing that in the past over concerns of a back siphon, although it's unlikely.

Any thoughts / recommendations?

Do you have an ATO?

Simple solution is what we do with our ALK line when dosing 2 part. Simply get yourself an airline T, put one end of your ATO on the T, the other end of your AFR line on the T, When your ATO fires off, it washes the line down.

That's a good simple solution, thanks. I don't have an ATO, but should. I do have a spare dosing head and my evaporation is quite high so I'll set up a flushing routine with a 'T'.
