AFR dose with baking soda

Are you really measuring alk in ppm calcium carbonate equivalents?

25 ppm alk (1.4 dKH) boost in 10 gallons actual water volume with AFR requires 8.8 mL, so yes. :)
It is a bit confusing because my alk meter is in parts per million and the AFR shows in dKH to milliliters. Just wanted to see if I had the conversion correct

Follow up Randy. Based on this, if I were to dose the Red Sea A,B,C,D, that doses on calcium change. Bottle says to dose 1ml for every 20ppm of calcium added per 25 gallons of tank volume. So adjusting for my tank volume and the ca added with 8.8ml I would dose A, B, C and D .18ml/day. The A adds iodine which AFR has so would I not dose A?
