African Pygmy angel feeding?

Good afternoon! So I picked up a smaller African Pygmy angel yesterday and have a few questions about feeding. My lfs said they broadcast feed the tanks mysis, brine, and bloodworms. I feed my tank daily with pellets and 1-2x a week with frozen mysis. I also have half a strip of nori always in the tank for my lawnmower bleny. The fish is very healthy and active. He’s still a little shy but still swims around the rocks. When I feed the tank, I can’t really see him and don’t know if he’s eating. Will he start eating out in the open soon or do I need something better to draw him out? Sorry, I’m a bit nervous because it’s my first angelfish and was a little more pricey. Plus the wife is already in love with him lol

I have a brine hatchery and eggs on hand if I need to start that up. I also was using the frozen mysis to try to get him to eat.

I would probably advise trying to feed frozen brine or the live brine to get him to eat, as brineshrimp is especially enticing for angels i have found. Until he starts feeding, i would recommend trying everything possible that you can. Also you may want to up the feeding of frozen as pellets arent always the most appetizing to new fish.
Good luck, hope it starts eating for you, he may just need some time to settle in too, so long as you see him picking on the rocks he should be fine.

I would just let him settle in feed a bit more frozen and if it is picking on the rock then he is feeding and when I add a new fish to the tank I feed some frozen when lights go out this seems work well good luck with the new Angel I'm sure it will be fine.
