Thank you all! He is beyond cool. They have a commensal relationship with tube anemones. He hangs out with them. They give him protection he gives them a lure to attract prey. He left him for one second when I fed the tank but hopped right back on. I seriously have been looking for two years. I have 5 tube anemones and ever since I saw a picture of one of these guys I have been asking every LFS, even several wholesalers to please find me one. I had one tracked down in New York but the dealer was too busy to send him out and he died.
There are several varieties. Lissocarcinus laevis is the only one that is commensal with the tube anemones. They are very hard to come by because of the great depths they live at. To be honest, I'm not sure there is another one in the US. Lissocarcinus orbicularis is the more common one but is not commensal with tube anemonies. Now I'm looking for a second one. Lol
