Crack a window open and put an air stone is. My guess as to why the pH dropped is because of a bacterial bloom depleting O from the water. Is your tank ckoudy?

This might help...also our hobby test kits aren't that accurate and prone to error so your measurements may be off

I haven’t tested for pH not once ever and never will, also consider that option

Nope water is clean

Are you using a low alk salt mix? Distilled water and RODI have low pH values, but when mixed with an alk between 8-12 the pH falls into ideal ranges. 7.6 isn’t something to lose your mind about, but it’s also unusually low for a reef tank. Calcium carbonates will help to raise it a bit. It doesn’t have to be above 8, mine is usually 7.8-7.9, but 7.6 is oddly low. Remember that the pH scale is logarithmic, so it 7.6 is 40 times more acidic than 8.0 so if it gets any lower I would be worried. I would try the air stone and window first because it might be co2 saturation.

Open windows and ensure there is adequate surface water agitation.
Did you have guests over the weekend?
More exhaling of c02 from guests will lower your pH.
