For many years I managed a successful reef tank 65G flatback Acrylic with Sump /UV/ PS... The community and fish were thriving. One day I saw a beautiful Flame Angel and had to have it - I was impetuous and added a Flame Angel without proper QT - just did Copper in the bag... well that choice caused mass extinction. As you could imagine, the tank would require complete breakdown and sterilization.

So, I did that...and then decided to pack it up put it in storage. Figured I'll give it a year or so..18 years later. My Brother-n-law inspired me to re-consider setting it up again. So I thought about it. Yes, maybe it's time. I begin the research as I typically so... I dig out all of my old expensive stuff. All garbage now. ugg. ok so here I go again.

Well last month I ordered my new tank from CDA and I am excited again. This time, will be a bit different - Permanent QT and Saltwater RODI Mixing Station as well.

Welcome :) Sounds like a great build!

welcome back, looks great and seems like you are on the right track. i would say the big thing to think about is wiring as you plan, mine is still needing some attention in this respect as i did not anticipate the amount of wise and placement of some items due to wiring restrictions

Welcome to R2R!!! Welcome back to the hobby!!!

that is going to look nice when the corals fill in on those rocks.

@scott11106 - I agree the wiring is a big consideration - I will have the side panel door for the Apex controls and Vortec - thinking blue conduit PVC to hide wires.
