After Quarantine Cleaning Tank Process

After quarantining your fish, to clean the tank and other things you’ve used, I’ve heard using bleach to clean it is best. Any thoughts on that? Also, if you used a pump to get water out of your tank do you run bleach through that too? I’m skeptical about this because nothing but white clothes mix with bleach.

I dont fully understand what you are asking. I dont keep a QT tank going at all times. When I'm done QT'ing a new fish, I drain the tank, then wipe everything down or soak with 10% bleach. It goes into storage until I need it again.

I personally have never bleached a quarantine or even cleaned one. I just put a bag of carbon in my HOB filter and wait until copper reads 0. I’ve never had any issues with this method.
