I found I got more consistent readings by putting the sample through 2 coffee filters.

Could be a very good idea if the water is turbid.

thank you! I was unsure how to read the hanna ppb to ppm chart.

The math behind it is 50 * 3.06 and divided with 1000 -> 50*3.06/1000 = 0.153
3.06 is the conversion factor between PO4-P and PO4
1/1000 is the conversion factor between ppb and ppm
