I ordered the following fish from LA

Black Photon Clownfish, Captive-Bred- Small 1-1/4" to 1-3/4"

Ocellaris Clownfish, Captive-Bred- Small: 1-1/4" to 1-1/2"

I know that lens angles and stuff can make it hard to see the size, but these two fish were supposed to be the same size, and the Ocellaris came to me super tiny (I have never seen them this small, not even at my LFS. The Black Photon is the size that I normally see at my LFS.

and yes i am going through the ugly phase.

I agree it should be fine unless there happens to be a hawkfish or something that could fit it in its mouth but even then clownfish are pretty savy. This is the unfortunate thing about ordering online, that fish might very well be 1 1/4 but kinda like the area of pipe as you go from 1 to 2 there is a huge change. Also I think that other fish is over 1 3/4.

I have a baby snow onyx clown and a normal sized ocellaris clown. They act like best freinds!

Thanks for the replies everyone. Everyone in the tank gets along great. The larger one sure does act like the mom. The little guy thinks the entire tank is his playground. He just zooms around from jet to jet since I got them synced.

I also wanted to say that both of these fish came from LA as opposed to ORA. They shipped from the Wisconsin facility and did not contain the Ora trademark.
