So i have a 2 year old maroon clown...and hes about 4 inches, but i decided to get another maroon clown cause i wanted to keep a pair...but the other one was almost half an inch...so i hoped the old one would get along...but as expected....he started bullying the small maroon clown to the point it jumped out.. ..thank god i noticed and put him back...after this i put the big maroon clown in the sump...and he has been there since 3 days....and hes not eating....so im kinda worried what to do......do i put him back in the main tank? Or wait for some more days. (My tank is a 150 gallon)

Get an acclimation box. Put the new fish in the box on the opposite side of where the larger maroon stays. I've heard maroons are very hard to pair.

I had good luck with a breeder box Have a larger female and introduced a much smaller maroon. Results were the same as yours. I put the smaller one in a breeder box for about 1 week. Worked out for me. They are best friends now

Im not able to get my hands on a breeder box right now....it might take some days....but until then any suggestions ?...do i wait one more day?....itll be 4 days after today...he still isnt showing interest in food....ive tried all kinds i have available....or shall i just add him back to the display tank in the night

Wouldn't worry too much about not eating for a week, a healthy fish will be fine.

Best of luck with the reintroduction, had a similar issue as your but sorry to say i had to remove the more dominant clownfish in the end. A happy peaceful aquarium now.

Oh boy:( i hope they get along....ill leave him in the sump for a few more days. Will keep yall posted. Thank you for the advice
