I had 4 different types of percula clown fish and an 8" engineer goby in my 72 gallon tank. A friend was selling a group of 5 chromis he had for a year. after QT, they were added in. there is one fairly large chromis (bigger than my female perc). The clown fish juveniles hide by the return nozzle and rock tower on the right, where the 5 chromis cruise the tank. The smallest picasso has disappeared and nocorpse to be found. I ripped out my sand bed this past weekend and no bones, no nothing.... it's a mystery:eek:

I once had a trio of blue green reef chromis (C. viridis). That i named the three stooges. I had to get them out, they nearly killed a yellow tang. They would bite thebscales off the other fish, the only fish that really held their own were the clowns

Iv got 5 , they all chase each other about and iv seen one go for my big clown , they sort of bother my yellow tang , the only fish iv seen stand up to them is the hippo tang and he's a lot smaller than the yellow tang and clown
The girl clown is mean as well biteing me whenever I stick my hand in the tank so I can't understand why she don't stand to to them
Might have to move them on

my female chases them off regularly. while she is chasing one off, 2 others get closer to the juveniles for a sec, but then the female puts em in check again. i suck at catching fish
