Hey all. I recently added a Ruby Dragonet to my tank and my starry blenny became aggressive towards it almost immediately. I'm really disappointed in his behavior because I had to remove a tail spot blenny (they were added at the same time) for bullying him after a month of getting along! Unfortunately I'm only a year into the hobby and didn't know the proper way to add a new fish to the tank. Other tank mates are a white spotted pigmy filefish and occ clown. The blenny wasn't aggressive towards either of them. Anyway, I trapped the blenny and put him in a breeder box inside the tank. He's been in there about a week. Any suggestions on how I should proceed?

Most likely the starry see it as competition for food. We know that's not the case. If there is plenty of food for the blenny l, it may not be as aggressive but you may be forced to make a decision on which stays.

Yeah I think that's how the blenny views the dragonetI'm hoping if I keep the blenny in isolation for another week or two and release him when the tank is asleep he'll not be aggressive. What do you think?
