I believe it's just a regular plate. My urchin knocked over a big rock and it fell right on the plate ;Blackeye

Looks similar to my "Frankenstein" fungia, pictured. If that's what it is, they're tough to kill. I had a doser malfunction and dump about 750ml of Tropic Marin All for Reef into a 75g. The tissue sloughed off, but at the advice of my lfs I didn't give up on it. It made a full recovery and is now several times larger than it is in this pic.

I'd pull it out and put it in a bowl very gently, and give it some aminos to aid its recovery.
