Ahogues innovative marine 100 int

Thinking about upgrading to the Nuvo 100-INT. Looks great! What are your thoughts about the tank now that it has been up for about a month or so?

No complaints id prolly buy a 36in deep model now lol but oh well

Nice setup. I am looking at the IM 100 gallon external. Are tou liking your IM int? I would have liked to get a red sea 425xl but I don’t want their sump and it would be a waste of money to buy it and change sumps and ato. I would rather go the IM route and customize it myself. Even more so now that they are onsale for $1700. I am also looking at the exact same Bashsea sump you have. How are you liking yours?

Just so you know. Innovative Marine is about to release 2 36" deep tanks. A 112 gallon (36" x 36") and a 150 gallon (48" x 36"). The 112 will be $2000 with APS stand and the 150 will be $2500 with APS stand.

I believe it’s 36”W X 36”L X 20”H. It’s not 3’ deep. Fyi. Unless I’m reading something wrong. It looks 20” deep as well based on their photo.

I meant 36” front to back. Should not have said deep I guess. It is 20” deep. I own the 36” x 36” x 20” tank.

Hey, I just ordered this tank with the white stand. How have you liked it so far?

I got rid of it like 1.5 years ago lol but good tanks im about to buy another im just havnt decided what one

No issues at all part of why im going back to im i had a waterbox and few things a didnt like the int does eat up a bit of space over the ext though

Ya I know but the area I'm putting it in will be impossible to get to the bulkheads if need be. Also I love the coast to coast overflow for filtration...

How level does it need to be? The area I have in mind is about 1/32 off..

Bulk headarnt any easier to get to in the stand with a sump in the way just hope ya never have to get to them

And should always shoot fo as level as possible but yeah i wouldnt fret over that

Hey, quick question, did you glue the drains and returns into the bulkhead or just push them in as far as they'd go?

Hey, one more question. How did you initially tighten the bulkheads? With the tank on the stand, is there enough room to get a wrench in there?

Yeah tank on stand would want to take the chance of catching one when the tank goes down

And i did hand tight then gave them just a bit more of a snug (like 30degrees/1/4 twist) with a pair of large channel locks

Fyi i think a few places sell big plastic sockets for it do you can give them a real good hand tight twist

So you were able to fit channel locks in there?
