AI 16 FW Problems

so I recently purchased an Freshwater AI 16 and I tried to set it up with the two other lights. Cannot do anything thru the cloud and my phone and tablet dont even see the light at all via IOS.

Before I return it, can someone please help me better trouble shoot. The videos are not helpful
 
Sorry for your troubles.I have no experience with these lights.Hopefully you got this sorted out?
 
The new 16 lights don’t use the cloud, they’re Bluetooth so make sure that is turned on. I had issues with my marine version when trying to connect to multiple devices ie phone and tablet. I decided to just use my iPad. I uninstalled the app on my phone and turned off Bluetooth just to make sure it wasn’t still connected/trying to connect. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, on the tablet, Install the My AI app on the tablet, sign in, select the + symbol and it’s the bottom option that mentioned light. Should auto detect the light, select it and away you go.
