Hey guys! Was just wondering what people’s opinion/thoughts for the best lighting setting for the AI Prime 16HD for a 20 gallon mixed reef tank. Really curious to hear everyone’s thoughts!!

Personally, I keep UV, Blue, Royal Blue, and Purple at the same % each. So for example, if I have royal blue at 60%, UV , Blue, and Purple are as well. Green and Red lights I have always kept them at 0. Now with white lights, I keep them between 0-20% with the beginning and end of the day being 0% and the higher % during photoperiod or aka max lights.

This has caused me to keep LPS with great health.

now how much intesnsity to keep the lights, it will depend on tank size, depth, rock work structure and coral placement.

on a 10 G cube , 50-60 % is great to keep LPS looking stunning

I run these settings on my 20g nano and frag system with good results.
UV/V 140%
RB/B 125%
G 6%
R 6%
W 31%

Question I have 2 Prime 16HDs in the same schedule and I just took par readings, one light is way lower than the other. I contacted AI and they said that the probability of this happening is extremely unlikely. I can’t find much info online has anyone had this problem?

if I want to match the par I have to pretty much max out the intensity of one of the lights.
I ran through each channel and no LEDs are blown.

Have you tried rebooting them. One of mine was a lot dimmer than the other. I think I turned them off and had to delete the app, and start again.
