AI 16HD X 2 enough?

Hey everyone- happy Tuesday! I ordered a Waterbox 40 gallon, and it only comes with one AI 16HD light, but to me it doesn’t seem like enough... contemplating ordering a second one. What is everyone’s thought? Maybe experiences with this situation? Thanks!

the one thing I will tell you from my previous experience with the new primes is horrible they do not match colour at all even with my one under warrenty I got if you have the extra money I would get something else that's just my 2 cents though

I have the 32 HD Primes on my 90 gallon, approx 5 months old and I love them. I did notice at one point the colors didn’t match exactly, but it wasn’t noticeable much at all. But it doesn’t show now.

Yikes, that is quite a difference. Mine was definitely not that noticeable. That’s crazy!

It seems like there’s not a good option anymore it seems like a lot of the lights have a lot of issues and for the price you pay for new lights they should work flawlessly.

Depends what spectrum you want, I like half blue+ half coral +

Go with two at least. I have 3 with NO color issues on a reefer 250. Stuff grows very well. It won’t let me upload a picture right now for some reason.

BRS JUST did a video on the AI Primes including coverage, PAR readings, optimal settings, etc. Go check it out on their youtube channel, it's a must watch if you have the AI Primes
