I don't know if there is an answer but here we go. I had a 30 long with a frag rack and 1 Tomato clown and a RBTA in it with a Kessil 160 over it.Tank was doing great no algae issues never had to clean glass, Plenty of clean up etc.
I upgraded to the Hydra 26 which I loved. I put it at lowest settings on all colors.I even turned off red and green. 2 days later the tank was so green I freaked and pulled everything out. I know this was an algae bloom and it was only in the water and not on anything else, after I drained the tank I saw no more.
My question is can I prevent this?
Come to find out the tank had a crack in it that I previously didn't see so it needed to be taken down but that is another matter
Thanks in advance
