Hi there. In good faith I sent Shallow Planet $40.00 via pay pal for some equipment that he has yet to deliver on.

Time Line:
07/18/16 - Received PM from Shallow Planet ([email protected]) that the user will ship pumps and controller to me for $40.00 delivered

07/18/16 - sent $40.00 from my pay pal account to Shallow Reef ([email protected])

07/19/16 - sent email asking Shallow Planet ([email protected]) to confirm the user received the money and when the user would ship the two pumps and controller

07/19/16 - Shallow Planet ([email protected]) sent me an email saying "Yes will get tracking shortly"

07/19/16 - several hours after receiving the PM I asked Shallow Planet if its shipped and if so can you please provide a tracking number.

07/21/16 - I sent pm to Shallow Planet (amiller8185@gmailcom) asking for a $40.00 refund because they have not provided me a tracking number or confirmation that the package has shipped

07/22/16 - Received a reply from Shallow Planet saying basically the user did not see my last message, and that the said package (two pumps and controller) have been sent out. Do I still want a refund? Apologized that the user missed previous message

07/22/16 - I replied back to Shallow Planet informing the user that I want my refund via pay pal, provided my email address. I also said if you already sent the package provide the tracking number so I know when to expect it. I also informed the user that I will send the package back at MY EXPENSE

I realize its only been a few days, and perhaps Shallow Planet really sent me my items. Though it is a gut feeling that he has swindled me. The PM's of "you'll get a tracking number shortly (2 days ago).." and then when I'm asking for a refund its "It's already been sent though..".. either way something seems off.

I did send one last PM informing the user that chances of me getting back my $40.00 probably will not happen and that stealing money from people is wrong. I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't look like it.

Really dude? I'm the one that asked you if you wanted a refund. I then continued my normal day or working. Now I have 1 message saying yes and another long rant saying I'm scamming. Now this. Good Lord. Check paypal as you have already been refunded in full and I was able to stop package.
