Hi all, new to the forum but not to reefing. Im setting up a new tank and I wanted to fill it and get the cycle going. I havent gotten the lights yet but I am going with the new hydra 32s. I just was wondering if anyone out there uses the updated single light mount kit for them? Im trying to figure out how much space I need between the tank and the wall before I start filling it with water. I have been trying to find out what the thinkness is of the clamp, so I don't have to figure out how to move 120 gallons of water later, haha! I attached a picture to kinda help show what im talking about, Any help would be great. Thanks all!

Hi, sorry so late.

i saw you were working on getting your tank level in another thread . Not sure if you got this question answered so I figured I would check in.

Keep us updated as you go, I can’t remember if your other thread was a build thread in member tanks, but have a build thread if not so we can follow along

Nah did het an answer on this one, left the tank 2 inches away from the wall hoping that will be enough space. How do I go about starting a build thread? Just make a new thread in members tanks?

No they didnt. The kit came with clips that hold the wire against the bars and they clip onto the bars. Not as clean of a look but im ok with it.
Thank you for the feedback. I was wondering what others were doing to remedy the wire situation
