AI Hydra 26HD vs Maxspect Ethereal

I've pulled the trigger and ordered a IM Nuvo 25 Lagoon tank and it should be delivered in a few weeks. I’ll be upgrading the pumps and other bits of equipment but I’m not sure which option to take with the lighting.

I have seen the AI Hydra 26HD in use various times and I know they are a solid lighting unit, personally I prefer them to the Radions. I have recently seen the Maxspect Ethereals in a few pictures and love the aesthetics of one over a rimless tank, I haven’t however seen them in real life.

Has anyone used the Maxspect Ethereals, how do you rate the light? Would you buy it again or go for another lighting unit? Are you happy with the colour blending? Pros and cons?

I intend to use it for mainly LPS corals and possibly some SPS on a 24”x20”x12” tank.

@nautical_nathaniel I've been following your thread on your Nuvo Nano tank. How have you liked your Ethereal LED? Has it been easy to adjust the colour to what you would like? Do you have any issues with hotspots? How bright do you run it?
