AI Hydra 32HD with Low Voltage Error

I just purchased 2 AI Hydra 32HD's and both of them after setting everything up are flashing alternating Red/Purple which according to the Quick Start guide that comes with it, says that it is Low Voltage and to contact support. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what was done to fix it.

I don't. They are plugged directly into the wall.

Have you tried just using one. Like unplug one and see. It could be an electrical issue. Not maybe the light

Or try and plug into a different wall outlet. Kinda hard to believe two brand new ones out of the box are both having the identical problem.

Has me sorta concerned. I just ordered one of them to pair with my ai blades

I tried plugging them into a different wall outlet in a different room on a different line, plugging only one in, checked the plug with a voltage meter to see what the output is on the plugs themselves. By the time I noticed the error, the AI support had already gone home since they are in the eastern time zone! I will. All this morning to see what they say!

That’s exactly what I was thinking! But appearantly, since the alternating red/purple light is on the Quick Guide Card, it must be a problem that they have had several times in the past! I’ll call support this morning and see what they have to say!

I just contacted [email protected] and they asked me what the voltage on the power bricks had for DC output. I told them 24 and he said it should have been 36. They will be sending me two new power bricks with the correct voltage.

UPDATE: After contacting AI for the Hydra 32HD's they asked me what the voltage on the power bricks had for DC output. I told them 24 and he said it should have been 36. They will be sending me two new power bricks with the correct voltage. Now, I just wait until they get here.
