Hey guys and gals, I got very lucky and won a brand new AI Hydra 26 from my local swap this weekend, but I am not exactly what I need to control this thing with. I saw that AI makes a several different controllers but some may work for this light and some may not since this is the first version of this light not the HD model. Any help will be appreciated.

They have their own built in wireless and control, no additional controller needed with those.

I thought just the hd ones had there own controller? ??? This is a non hd one, I'm pretty sure i need a controller

Your options are dependant on how you want to control it. IF you have an Apex system, you can control it with the AWM module. Personally, I didnt like the module, but you might. Otherwise you can use the AI Director. Really simple to hook up and you can control your lights through the AI app on your phone or going to my.aquaillumination.com once you have an account set up. The directors are more difficult to find (I got mine through DrFostersandSmith). The controller (the one that looks like a TV remote) I believe works with the light, but not with the phone/app.

I run three 26s and love them. PM me if you need more specific info.
