Hi All. Kinda an urgent inquiry/request for people's input on the AI Hydra 52's. I'm assuming by the price tag that they are very good lights (led) does anyone have any feedback? I'm looking into purchasing but hefty price tag and want to see what people's opinions are. Thanks!

Two 26s would be better in any scenario and I have two for sale ;)

what coral are you looking to grow and what size is your tank/how many are you planning on running?
mostly LPS but do have a few SPS frags (purple stylos) running under red sea stock compact T5's at moment. 34 gal red sea max is tank I have.

Ok thank you! How much are you asking? I have a 34 gallon red sea max 130D currently running stock lighting (2- compact T5's) but want to switch to LED's for well most important the heat is too hot off those T 5's and with summer coming and me not being home all day I'll either have to by a chiller or convert to LED's (I'm told by a fellow reefer friend anyway).

that would be a ton of light then. Im not sure the dimensions of that tank but just for reference most people run 1 hydra 26 to cover 24" for a LPS tank.

Ok thank you for the info! Glad I asked. My tank is a 24 x 24
