AI HYDRA (Non HD) Actinic Light Settings

What is considered actinic light on Hydra 52s?

Specifically, what color channels would I be running at the end of the day if I want "actinic" light?
I believe the UV and Violet channels are the actinic bulbs since all the other colors are listed. It shows a 415nm and a 400nm.
Honestly i just run my blues very low in my program and for moonlight i use the violet channel on 1. Let me know if you want me to send you my program. Its from david saxbys hydra 52 non hd fixtures. Gives me amazing growth and coloration pending the water quality.

I run mine using the AWM module on my Apex so I always have a hard time translating this from the AI controller that everyone else uses.

Mine works by selecting all you color levels for each “point” and then using the graph to control the overall intensity.

I have never understood how to translate the “files” people post of the their program.

Basically I run mine for 12 hours total with the peak being about 4-5 hours.

Here is what the color channels are at all day.

No worries, the AI app isnt the most user friendly but the lighting graph is pretty cool when you can set it up to increase and decrease the intensities. Not sure how the apex works. But your channels are all the same as mine. The last two are the actinic. Violet and UV. I posted my program graph.
Youd need the AI program to use the files. It uses the AI program to open the file so its pretty easy when you have group presets to upload vs creating your own.

From what you posted, your whites are at 50. Mine are at 17.

That’s a huge difference!

I posted my graph with all the colors shown and their intensities/times throughout the day. My UV and violets (actinic) are in the middle with uv being slightly lower. And my blues and whites spike in intensity throughout the day mimicing natural reef sunlight. Its a very nice program and color.

I see your whites peak at 50, then zig zag down and up. If it’s 50 at the top, what does it go down to each time it dips?
 
Yeah, I’m totally confused at the AI program.

Is there a way to post each color channel and what the intervals of each channel are?

If I were to set each color channel at a specific level and run each of these channels for a specific time frame, what would the levels and time frames be?

I’d like to copy this into my Apex, but I’m just not understanding that program.
