You have your lights on for a long time.

I'm running my Vega with 4 hour ramp.

Turn on at 12 ramp up 4 hours then at 8 starts ramping down and turns off at 1:20 am.

I'm only running my whites for 2 hours with 30 min ramp time.

I am in the process of setting up a deep blue shallow. I have a hydra that I bought specifically for this build. The tank measures 36Lx18Wx12H. I wanted to know how high I should mount the light? I was going to mount them 12 inches but would love some feedback.

I purchased 2 for my 50 gal. I used the EXT mount connected to some brackets from Lowes attached to my hood. I got them set up to the controller. Now I can not figure out how to get the timers working and how to make it storm.

Have had my Hydras set up for about 3 Weeks now and the colors that hare coming out of my corals are amazing. Also this 125 has only been up for a month but all the corals were moved from a biocube 29 with AI Nano. Corals I have had for a year are showing more color from only 3 Weeks with the hydras.

The hydras have 80 degree lens, so do the sols. The main difference between both lights is obviously the colors and also the fact the hydras are wireless and contain 20 bulbs compared to the sols that has 24.

Honestly the shimmer is mainly caused by the movement of the water.

Your talking about the shimmer on the sand right?
