I have a fairly new 30 gal mixed reef. I am wondering if anyone has advice on what percentages I should set my colors to.

What type of AI light do you have?

I have a Hydra HD 26.. I am running a mix tank over a 40g Cube.
I am running the following setup with a 2hour ramp up and down time rise at 6:30am lights out at 6:30pm:

I just started this one about a week ago so I am still seeing how my corals are adjusting to it.

Before I was running at
UV 105%
Violet 105%
Dark Blue 105%
Blue 105%
Green 20%
Red 20%
White 50%

Before that I had all first four channels at 100%, Green and Red at 20% and White at 50%..

Both of my previous ones I had good growth.

The BRS investigates AI Prime :D It will answer pretty much any questions you would have about the light, from recommend mounting height to recommend settings ;)

I think this setting is pretty good- I run 4 primes with almost exact same except I run white much lower.
But I have t5 as well that gives the white light but I’m shooting for higher par. For mixed the prime should do well. One prime can cover 24x24 area.

Good luck!

I use BRSs AB+ spectrum for a AI Prime 16HD which is:
UV 119%
violet 116%
blue 80%
royal blue 79%
red 4%
green 4%
white 19%
Per BRS this is 8" above water surface on a 13" deep tank.
