AI max fan speed setting?

Hi all, I was looking at the settings on my AI prime HD’s and noticed there was a max fan speed option. It lets me limit the maximum fan speed ( in percentage). It also says this could potentially limit the maximum output of the device’s main LEDs. What does this mean and what should I look for in max fan speed? Should they be at 100%? Or should they be lower? I feel like this contradicts the auto shut off thermostat feature if anyone could explain this to me in layman terms, that would be great.

It means if it gets too hot and you've limited the fan speed it will cap the LED intensity so it doesn't overheat. When I ran AI lights I never messed with that setting.

So I want it to be at 100%

I'd leave it at that, yes. Chances are unless you're running every LED channel @100% it will never run @100% anyway.
