I've had a bit of difficulty with getting the right angle of flow with this unit. When mounted on the glass. Especially on pulse mode. I get it right. Come home and it's moved back to central and blown sand everywhere
I only have it ramping to 75pc.
So I've had it mounted inside the tank on a corner frag holder. I've glued a peice of plastic filled with holes now I can angle it to blow across from the corner.
But


The magnet which was designed for EXTERNAL use. Is now in the tank.

Whatcha reckon? Safe?

It's been like this for 6 weeks.. No Ill effect. I haven't removed the magnet for inspection..

If meant for the outside its probably not coated. I would inspect often.
