Ai Nero 5

I have 2 in my 36x18x26, but running on pulse mode at about 50% max.

Got a Nero 5 today, do you guys think one will be enough for a 36x24x24 tank?
These guys are fairly strong. Try the one and determine if another is needed. I think the one will do fine

Depends on rockwork and intended reefing. I have two in my 48x24x24 and a gyre due to my unique rockwork, some beginner lps and lots of dead spots otherwise.
Got pic? I too have same size tank.. looking for placement ideas

Older pic, but I ran this way until recently, kinda was more of a random whirlpool style flow. I was OK with it, just wanted a bit more flow so they are now on the back wall and the gyre is on the side wall.

Extremely strong, I got one for my 30 gallon which is 3ft long and I keep it at like 16%
For a little component- it can move current - no doubt

Check out the table I developed in this thread. It will help you dial-in your Nero 5 depending on what your flow goals are. Bottom line, the percentages can be deceiving:

Your post helped me immensely when setting up my Nero 5's, appreciate the work.

I have one on each upper side of the tank. One runs for 30 seconds and then the other runs for 30 seconds. This does a very good job of stirring up the water without creating dead spots.
