So sad news, this morning I woke up and found our cleaner shrimp had died after seemingly getting stuck in the Orbit 4 gyro. I suppose it’s possible he died prior, but I had no way of telling for certain. We have a green bubbletip on order that I basically got free. I’m worried it could get stuck in our Orbit 4, thoughts?

Note: I’m trying to find aftermarket guards, no luck so far.

@DustinDec

Good news, I had a similar issue and I got Ryan at Leafgreen Solutions to make them.

I haven't received them but I have ordered other aftermarket items from Leafgreen and all have worked well.

Hope this helps!
Curious on your thoughts regarding the aftermarket guards. I'm planning my next aquarium and have Orbit 4's on my list. Given I have 2 anemones that I'll eventually transfer to the new tank, lack of a guard was a concern for me.

They have worked so far!

Provides some peace of mind but I'm fortunate that my anemone has found a spot away from all of the current orbits / neros.

I shipped Ryan a unit so he was able to get exact measurements. They come in various colors and are easy to take off and clean.

Thanks! Just saw your reply today and ordered the Orbit 4's since they went on sale today at BRS. Will order the guards as well.
