AI Parts Vega/Hydra

I am curious what everyone is doing with their AI lights now that parts are not available from AI. I have a number of clients with Vega/Hydra fixtures that have different issues from not connecting to a controller to flickering on and then nothing.

If anyone has these fixtures laying around please let me know. I hate to just toss them in the "maybe one day i will use these" pile.

If anyone knows of an attempt at using their pucks for a DIY fixture please let me know. I would be happy to do a build thread as I have 13 of these fixtures that i need to do something with.

Wow...I didn't know they were no longer offering parts for them. I just took down 4 Vegas as I made the switch to T5s. Maybe my timing was better than I thought.

In the past, when the light could not be fixed, AI has offered a deep discount to upgrade to the current models since they can no longer repair the older models. Have you tried contacting them?

Yes, they offer to let us purchase a new hydra 26 at wholesale pricing. I already get wholesale pricing on their products so it doesn't benefit us any. I still have all these $600 light fixtures collecting dust because a puck burned up or the motherboard is fried.

I have one it’s still running perfect I’m about to upgrade tho and just have it for a back up my lfs has one more left for 75 bucks

Anyone have issues with Hydra HD blues flickering when set to 1%? Also I have 5 blue leds that don't fire. They're either blue or royal. But they're all synced and on two of the four there are 5 blues on each that justndont fire (52HD). Guess that's what you get when you buy on eBay.
