I like the David Saxby presets. It does look like you settings are pretty high. Is your set up SPS dominant? If you want some additional guidance, watch Randy's 30 min video on BRStv on the AI prime 16 HD. The video discusses mounting height, spread, etc. You can also watch their piece on light intensity if you are looking for guidance on setting up you LED light intensity. Hope this helps

Just zoas and lps

Just zoas and lps
That is intense lighting for zoas and lps. I personally would run any light schedule at max 70%, and 70% is pretty high for both those types of coral. if you add sps you could ramp up to a higher intensity but doing so too fast could nuke your other coral.

I agree they are fantastic. Randy is comprehensive and will certainly get you on the right path. I have a 20g CUBE, mixed SPS, LPS, Softie, run a single AI PRIME 16 HD, mounted approximately 12" from water surface, I use the David Saxby preset and currently running at 32% intensity, with intention to ramping up to 48%. What is interesting to me after I read your thread again is the low par at that intensity. Is your water somewhat cloudy or crystal clear? I am assuming it is crystal clear...and your par readings are not directly under source light. Again check out BRStv videos on the 16 prime. You will understand my interest.

Check out the BRS videos on YouTube about the ai prime. They are fantastic.
+1 on this, you can find the 40 gal breeder settings they use which will be about perfect for your tank since it is the same dimensions. They have settings for SPS and LPS/softies.
