AI Prime 16 HD Website access.

Hello All,

I just bought 2 AI Prime from BRS. The MyAI app works great. But when I attempt to go to the website on my PC, it does not have them listed. I go to the "ADD" area and attempt to put in the serial number. Then I get an error stating "The serial number entered is not valid". The serial number on both the light and the box are 14 numbers long, but the website only allows for 12 numbers.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I've heard the newer lights don't have cloud access and are bluetooth only, but I could be wrong..

The new lights do not have cloud access. I have 2 of the Hydra 32's. They way I look at it is once a light schedule is set it should stay that way. If I need to make adjustments it can wait for me to be in front of the tank so I can see whats happening.

I'm not sure how I did this, but I can access my AI HD Prime thru my computer... although, I have it on my phone and I make any adjustments that way.

Prime HD and 16 HD are 2 different lights. The HD will connect to the cloud. the new 16 HD will not.

I can only think of one instance of me needing to mess with the light when I am not there..... one I had my daughters friend going over to the house to feed my tank while I was out of town and he couldn't see if the food was spreading in the tank while he was on the phone with us, so I logged on and turned on the whites for him.... his reaction was priceless haha. other than that, messing with my kids friends when I see them looking at the tank for the first time.... my kids will even tell them they can tell the light what color to shine by saying it out loud... it hilarious!

This absolutely stinks! Trying to set the schedule on the phone is about 10 x harder than on the computer. My computer has Blue Tooth. Why can't you access the lights through your computer! A! made a big mistake IMO. I like the lights but this is disappointing.

I feel your pain. The story has it that AI is going to make the lights wifi. We'll see.

My new 16hd went Rouge today.. Not connected to the app, and had to do a full reset with no luck.
It does power on, and I can push the button for incremental lighting

I would contact AI's customer service. They're great.
