AI Prime 16HD - Import settings?

I can’t seem to find the answer to this despite googling all morning. I don‘t own one but possibly interested in buying one. On the 16HD light is it still possible to import other people’s light settings? From what I can tell the previous version connected to a pc to do it but this newer version uses a phone app.

I've been looking for this for awhile. I've asked here and the official facebook page without answer. I've yet to figure it out, that's not saying it's not possible...This is just my experience.

I’ve opened a support ticket to see if they’ll reply that way.

How would I work out which mount to buy? Tank is rimless, 40cm front to back.

Thank you for contacting AquaIllumination! You can indeed share and import your schedule! To first share a schedule you have saved, select the star icon on the Lighting page. Here, you will have the option to send the schedule via email, text, or other communication options you may have on your phone.

To load a schedule, you could open your email or text with the attachment on your phone. Next, please complete the following steps:
-Press and hold on the schedule, an option will come up that allows you to download.
-Choose Open on the popup window once it confirms it has downloaded. If prompted which app to open with select myAI.
-Open the myAI app, and select the controls/lighting page.
-Select the star icon, and choose Select Preset

Here will be a listing of all the saved schedules, including your recently downloaded schedule. They will be listed with a name and download date to help keep them organized if you have multiple schedules saved. Please let me know if there is anything additional I could assist you with, thank you!

Im sure its the same but I have the 32HD and have saved others schedules from their website all on my iphone

Just posting based on my personal experience (Android App) I found that importing settings (even your personal ones) will bring down any intensities > 100 back down to 100. This has been incredibly annoying say importing or saving the BRS setting which have UV/Violet at 119/116. I submitted a bug report thinking it may not be supporting the newer "HD" model of the light which allows for driving power to greater than 100% intensities but I was just speculating. Would be interested if anyone else had this issue.

I like the straight arm mount myself.

I'm going to try this and see if it works, I have no problem downloading the settings, I have a problem opening them with the light.

This worked great, FYI, turn on your location, bluetooth and then download, it will open with the MyAi app. Thanks so much for this!!

That’s great to hear, now I know if I choose this light I can use that functionality. I was looking at this or maybe the red sea reefled 50. Mixed opinions on both depending what forum I look at.

This still hasn’t worked for me. I don’t get it. I don’t see any options listed to open the downloaded settings file in the myAI app. Using iPhone/IOS.
