I would appreciate informed opinions regarding the above subject. I know the testing I've seen on the Prime 16HD has been on a 24x24 tank -- and the JBJ45 is 2" wider. However, my corals do not fill the tank to the edges so I don't think it would be an issue.
Just wonder if anyone is using this light on the JBJ45 and what your experience may be.
My current light is in the attachment. And, while it works fine -- it's a nightmare to program -- so, I almost never make any changes to it.
Thanks for your input.

It all entirely depends on what you are trying to grow in your tank. Lower light LPS and softies, you can definitely grow with 1 Prime HD 16. SPS...No. My tank is 24” x 16” and I have 2 Prime HD 16s on my tank, which allows me to have great results with SPS including acros. I ran it with 1 light when the tank was first starting up for a while, sps did not like that at all.

Actually, I only have one SPS in my tank now. It's a birds nest I got from WWC. The thing has grown like crazy with the current light. My other corals include a hammer and torch with a few acans that don't seem to grow much.
