Ai prime 16hd on biocube question

Just picked up a used 32g biocube today and I noticed how big the feed hole was was wondering if I Velcro my ai prime to the tank on the feed spot will that be fine I’m wanting to keep the kid on due to young kids wanting to toss stuff into the tank

My rockwork is in the back of the tank or would this cause to much or a hotspot

So, basically, the AI Prime is only a couple of inches above water level,,, correct?
If so, you might be in uncharted territory (unless you have access to a PAR meter).

Start low and use the acclimation mode and just monitor, I guess?
