How high do you run them

I think it’s about 10%, this tank is in my bedroom so I need them to be dim for sleep. It’s my understanding that ‘moonlights’ aren’t entirely necessary but can make viewing of the nighttime activities easier as well as provide a ‘moon cycle’ for species like RFA which are believed to possibly time their spawnings around equinoxes or the moon cycle (although nobody really knows). It’s mostly just a fun thing for the aquarist, I don’t think the reef cares that much. Of course, if you were running something like an octo/shark tank where they are active more at night that is a different story.

They are very beautiful critters! I’ve got 5 coming in tomorrow to add to my 6 current ones! I’ve definitely got a problem... I’m naming the super green one 'The Velociraptor’

Newer 32, 64, etc HD lights have some things in different places of the interface than older 26 and 52 lights.

It’s okay! I just haven’t updated my app. You’re still able to access all the services. I can teach you how to properly do the moonlight when I get home because it happened to me too. I bet you have your moonlight settings on during the day instead of at night so it interferes with your daytime schedule. Simple time change should set you straight

How do you ensure the moonlight comes on at night and not interfere with day schedule?

AI prime 16hds and AI prime HDs have two different settings. If yours has "effects" at the bottom you're using a prime HD not a Prime 16 HD. I have two over my 20g and it's like this.

True, I only got the ‘effects’ tab at the bottom after I added an HD, moonlight is still possible with just the regular one though
