It’s a nice light, what size tank you putting it on?

I have a 20 gallon innovative marine do I need one or 2? Right know I have one and things look good would two be over kill?

I have a little tank I wanted to put this on. Like 12 G

Had it on my Evo 13.5. It was great. You'll most likely need to tune the wattage/output WAAYYYY Down. I never went past 16 watts with mostly LPS. You could go somewhat higher for sps.

Depends what you are keeping. I have 3 (yes, 3) on my little 15" cube (14 gallons), but that is because I'm keeping anemones and have a very tall dividing rockwork dead center (and am fighting long hair algae as a result). As others have noted, with a tank that size if you are keeping lower light corals (softies/LPS) one will probably do. Definitely look up dialing in a more reef-like/bluish spectrum as described in this video:

And if you are wondering what all of this talk is about "AB+" spectrum, it relates to a study done by Ecotech a few years ago in optimizing their grow out tanks and is named for the legacy ATI Aqua Blue Plus T5 bulbs that were (and still are) popular: https://ecotechmarine.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/ReefWholesale_CoralLab.pdf
Skip down to where it talks about "SPS AB+". Others have since tried to emulate that spectrum that they achieved on their more expensive Radion lights.

Its a good light. I'm not 110% satisfied with the color, but that is just me. It grows zoa's very very well. It would be great for LPS,Monti's,Birdsnests and some higher end Acro's at the top of the rock work say 200-250 par.

I have mine at 16w: 60% RB,10% Blue,5% CW,UV & V 45% or 50%,G & R at 3%,ML:40% all from 11-8pm with a 1hr rap time.

Pic is right after a water change a few weeks after the cycle. Its way more full now and filling on nicely.
