Anyone have these lights ?
Are they working out for you ?
Are there any lights that are better in the price range ?

I was going to buy 2 for my upgrade to a 75 gallon. But the lack of wifi and web adjustments killed it for me as I cannot pair with the 2 primes I already have. So instead I am going to get a Mars Aqua 300w and run it on a timer with the two prime HD... one on each side. Or two of the Mars Aqua 165w and sell one prime, and use the other as a fuge light. The mars aqua get great par values at 50%

I just hooked mine up last night the colors are amazing I didnt even know some of then had these extra colors. But my hammer coral and vamp in fanges are not feeling it. I'm not sure if I started light too low or too high for them.

Check your LFS and rent a PAR meter. What intensity are you running? Depth? How high above water?

I started with orbit marine with frag wrack around 6" deep. Now with ai prime they are about 12" deep. I used the david saxby schedule and started it at 35% to acclimate to max in 21 days.

Everything should come to life real good as days go by then! It's a great light no doubts about it. Cheers!!

What kind of tank are you running? And yes bluetooth is easy to use and you just have to clIck on a link for someone else's schedule and it auto downloads and opens your app no hassle.

They higher you lift the light off the water the better coverage you get. I have mine 8” off the water on a Nuvo 20 24” long and I have some shady areas on the outer sides. I’m fine with this and it’s what I want. I did raise the light to 13” off water and I have 100% coverage of my tank just not what I wanted. I still need to grab a par meter to test it out for real though.

I have the 16hd and really like it. It’s on a 20 gallon but I have to warn you the removal of Wifi caused me not being able to use a computer to control the light. The blending is really nice and it’s strong. I don’t use the moonlight but some people may.

I have 3 on a Red Sea 250. Totally happy everything is growing like crazy with a pretty conservative light schedule. Highly recommend. I had 2 prime HD’s over a reefer 170 for a year and half and no issues ever over the whole time.
